Coach Omar Abukar is a co-founder of Touch Kings Football Club (TKFC) and a top coach in the D.C. area. He is known for helping young players become elite athletes ready for college, national teams, and professional soccer.

Coach Alambi Clarke Jr.—also known as Coach “Lambo”—is a passionate soccer coach based in Columbia, Maryland, originally hailing from Prince George's County. His love for soccer began early, playing as a youth with Bethesda SC and Maryland Rush.

Coach Lambo Co-founded the Touch Kings FC in 2020 alongside Coach Omar Abukar. He currently coaches the 2012 Elite team and serves as the Technical Director of the academy. With over 15 years of coaching experience, he has helped countless young players excel both on and off the field. His coaching journey includes leading roles at Parkdale High School, where he was instrumental in the JV team’s undefeated season and a regional appearance with the Varsity team in 2014, as well as positions with Anne Arundel Soccer Association, Liverpool International Academy, Soccerdome Academy, and i9 Sports.

Coach Lambo is also an accomplished former player. At North Carolina Wesleyan College, he earned Player of the Year (2012) and was the Assist Leader (2012) while being a 2x All-Conference First Team selection. Following his collegiate career, he played professionally with Philadelphia Fury, Suresports FC, and Maryland Bobcats. He was also recruited for trials overseas, competing against Spanish teams such as Elche, Levante, and Benidorm, as well as Irish clubs including St. Patrick’s, Wexford Athletic, Cork City, and Dundalk.

Coach Lambo’s deep knowledge of the game, dedication to player development, and leadership skills continue to inspire athletes and foster a positive soccer culture within the community. His commitment to creating opportunities for young players reflects his passion for the sport and his desire to make a lasting impact on the soccer world.

Born and raised in Maryland, Coach Oscar discovered his passion for soccer at just seven years old and has been deeply connected to the game ever since. As a youth player, he competed at the travel level throughout his teenage years, developing a strong technical foundation, discipline, and a lifelong love for the sport particularly as a goalkeeper.

Coach Oscar began his coaching career with the Soccer Association of Columbia (SAC), where he spent over a year and a half refining his skills and philosophy as a youth coach. He later joined TouchKings FC, where he has proudly coached for nearly three year leading and mentoring the 2016 age group while supporting teams across the club.

His coaching journey extends beyond local fields. Coach Oscar has also collaborated with the professional Spanish club Atlético de Madrid, assisting with their official youth camps in the United States. This invaluable experience further shaped his coaching approach, emphasizing passion, structure, and purpose in every session.

As a proud parent of two young players in the club (2014 & 2016), Coach Oscar brings a unique perspective that bridges both the player and parent experience. His goal is to create an environment that is competitive, educational, and enjoyable, where every child can grow with confidence.

Driven by a mission to develop not only skilled and disciplined athletes but also resilient, inspired individuals, Coach Oscar is dedicated to helping young players love the game, believe in themselves, and reach their fullest potential on and off the field.

What He Does:
Coach Walter Avila is a dedicated soccer coach and player developer, currently associated with the Touchkings Football Club in Columbia, Maryland. Drawing from his background as a defender in collegiate soccer (CCBC Essex and Lycoming College), Walter brings a disciplined approach to the field. He specializes in improving individual technique, enhancing tactical awareness, and building a resilient team mentality. His coaching philosophy emphasizes hard work, discipline, and player empowerment, aiming to maximize both individual skills and overall team performance.

Simple Goal:
To instill confidence and foster a championship mentality in every player, guiding young athletes to reach their full potential on the field and succeed off it.

Coach Kevin is an ex collegiate athlete who played goalkeeper at St Mary’s College of Maryland.

He completed 2 years there while being a Business Management major. While at St Mary’s Kevin maintained a 3.4 GPA as a student athlete who knew how to balance schools and sports simultaneously.

As a former two-sport champion from Dr. Henry A. Wise, Jr. High School, he brings a proven winning mentality and strong athletic background to club.

Coach Kevin started his coaching career while in college doing individual goalkeeper training for a local travel club. He’s now been at Touchkings for 3+ years being heavily involved on the 7v7 side of things.

To me Touchkings means family. The club welcomed me with open arms fresh out of college and has helped me grow not only as a man but as a coach. Our main focus at the club is player development.

Growing up I’ve always been a person to help others and give back no matter the circumstances. Touchkings has made it easy for me to continue my ways in a form that I love which is Soccer.

What He Does:
Coach Mor Mboup is originally from Senegal, where he played semi-professional and professional soccer and served as a team captain for nine years for teams such as Diambars FC and Guédiawaye FC.

He brings years of playing and coaching experience and a passion for youth development to Touch Kings Football Club. Mor currently coaches the 2013 and 2014 age groups and leads goalkeeper training for the club, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and building player confidence.

Simple Goal:
My goal as a coach is to share everything I know and all the experiences I’ve gained to help young players grow, learn, and reach their full potential on and off the field.

Joshua is a dedicated soccer coach and former international player from Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands. He has coached at multiple levels, including serving as Assistant Developmental National Team Coach for the U-12 and U-14 programs with the Northern Marianas Islands Football Association. Joshua has also worked with youth teams at MP United FC and led various grassroots school programs.

Most recently, he coached the TKFC 2010 Premier Team during the 2024–2025 season, guiding them to a tournament championship and another finals appearance while emphasizing player development and growth.

As a player, Joshua represented the Northern Marianas Islands National Team from the U-12 level through the men’s training pool. He competed internationally across Asia, played collegiate soccer at Boise State University, and earned multiple youth and men’s league championships throughout his career.

Coaching Goal:
Joshua’s mission as a coach is to develop players technically, tactically, physically, and mentally within a positive and challenging environment. He is passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential through structured training sessions, film analysis, individualized feedback, and a strong emphasis on confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for the game.

He brings a wealth of experience and passion to the game, shaped by his journey as both a player and a coach. Born and raised in Ecuador, he developed his skills competing with some of the country’s most respected clubs Liga Deportiva Universitaria (U10–U12), where his team earned the National Championship, SD Quito (U14–U16), and ESPOLI (U16–U18), achieving a third-place national finish. He also proudly represented Unidad Educativa Borja 3 in multiple international tournaments between 2008 and 2012, gaining valuable exposure to high-level competition.

Today, Coach Darley serves as an Assistant Coach and Scouting Specialist with Atlético de Madrid, focusing on tactical development and game intelligence. His approach to coaching emphasizes helping players think critically on the field, make smart decisions under pressure, and continue growing both technically and tactically.

With his combined background as a competitive player and professional coach, Coach Darley is dedicated to developing intelligent, creative, and confident players who understand the game at its deepest level.

Zambian professional footballer Mutaya Kelvin Mwape is a dynamic and versatile midfielder known for his playmaking ability and work rate in the center of the park.

Born in Lusaka, Zambia, Mwape has spent his professional career showcasing his talents in American soccer, primarily across the USL and NISA leagues. He excels as a Right Midfielder but has the versatility to influence the game from Central Midfield.

Born in Jamaica, Alambi Clarke Sr began his soccer journey representing the Jamaica National Team at the youth level, where his passion for the game first took root. After moving to Washington, D.C.,

He became a standout player winning two DCAA Championships, earning Player of the Year honors twice, and being named to the All-Met First Team. He also represented the Maryland Select All-Star Team for two years.

After an accomplished playing career, Alambi transitioned into coaching, first with Maryland Rush Soccer Club, before joining Touchkings FC.

Today, Coach Clarke leads Touchkings with a mission to develop complete players technically skilled, mentally strong, and grounded in discipline. His philosophy blends passion, culture, and excellence to prepare athletes for success on and off the field.

Physical Education Teacher by profession, proactive par excellence, trained to work in teams and with a high social sensitivity accompanied by a great entrepreneurial spirit.

Alvaro is a versatile player capable of operating as a deep-lying playmaker or an attacking midfielder. His key strengths include:

Passing Range: Exceptional vision and precision in distribution, capable of dictating the pace of the game.

Ball Winning: An aggressive presser and tackler, he quickly turns defense into attack.

Goal Contribution: Possesses a powerful shot from outside the box and a knack for timely runs into the penalty area to secure goals and assists.

He is currently focused on developing his physical strength and tactical awareness to make a seamless transition to the senior professional game.

His immediate and simple goal is to consistently earn a starting spot in the senior professional squad, make his competitive debut, and establish himself as an indispensable, first-team player within the next two seasons.
